Running around like headless chickens

Carried on with David, Rich and Angie. Chris Lawson, one of our engineers from years gone by, has come in to tech for David and Rich. He is a great sound engineer and also a skilled guitar player so a useful person to have around, and also very calming. We are all running around like headless chickens, while Chris is our cool techie.

Mel came in today and started work with her new instrument. She will be singing but also playing samples. We have a lot of sound to cover, and really want it to be as live as possible, so its all hands on deck to make the music come accross right.

Big lists, and not so much done to day. We are all getting very tired. Basically because our lovely boss PG has given us a list of 35 songs. So with 35 songs to work through ...it gets very exhausting. But the songs are great and the crew are amazing so its fun too.

People say that a Gabriel tour is always a friendly one to be on. I really like the way we slowly build up to it. It makes it all work well.

So that's it for today .. still got distracted by the CD yet again. That is now off to the factory in Holland so we cannot change it any more.

Looking forward to making 'Moribund' work tomorrow, a really interesting weird song, with only 16 tracks on the tape.

Dan the assistant is doing a great job by the way, its his thing to make sure I don't forget stuff, and make sure all the computers are working correctly.
He will be looking after Ged and also Rich's computer setup.

We go home a little early tonight . . . . . . . zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
