Hamburg, It's All Good

So here we are in Hamburg about to fly to Eden, how odd does that sound?

Anyway we have finally got a great gig under our feet, Hamburg tonight was amazing. No real problems for us, and it almost felt fun which is what PG says it should always be.

The set changed a little from last time. We added Moribund - after doing others in the sound check - but just put that in to try again. David Rhodes is not sure of it, for good reasons he thinks that it slows the show down too much though he does like to song.

Back to the show. I am recording my mix, and would like to post a bit of tonight as it was very funny. PG was doing intros and made me laugh, my mic always goes to PG's so it made PG laugh too. So a good moment also showing that the boss is starting to relax.

Great setting as well, hopefully we can get a few of the pics up too as the crowd surrounded by the trees was a great sight.

PG almost went into the crowd tonight for Solsbury but we thought it would be to dangerous. Next time maybe...

Everybody played so well tonight, Rich and David really shone and came up with even more new riffs. Angie really stood her place and kept up her parts.
Tony as ever was pushing his bass lines through the songs and coming up with new riffs too. Mel was really going for it with her marimba she seemed more relaxed.

Ged made it all good, really made his mark on the old and the not so old songs. PG played very well, sang like his life depended on it and made me and everybody laugh a lot.

The crew have now just split up the gear. sSome goes tonight on a plane to Eden, others left before the gig to go to London - I think - then the rest is leaving on the trucks now to meet us at Eden after the show to split again to Dublin and London. It's really complicated.

Our production manager Tam along with Peter Lorimer have really made a great effort in making sure we know what goes where and how and when it should get there.

Its all been a bit of a headache for the rest of us. Dee, Roahan, Ben and Myself have got a bit panicked by it and now we wait until tomorrow to see if we put everything on the right truck, plane or boat.

Next stop the Eden project .
