Venice

PG said that he would never play a sit down show as the audience find it hard to get into it, and that then affects the performance of the band as well. But this was a beautiful place to play, and a good show over al.

Beckie our tour manager had a hard time having to move PG and the band on river taxi's between two hotels. We had to use hotels for dressing rooms, which meant myself and Beckie had to run 7 floors of stairs to give out everybody's socks and radios ...

It was a charity show so I think that's why it was a sit down show. As the ticket price was expensive i think.

For once it did not rain, but the way the gear got in and out made it a hard task. Everything had to come in by barge across to the square, so it took almost three times as long to get to the stage area. Then after the trucks were able to come in to the side of the square and sit on the barges while we packed them ...A little sea sick on the load out but
it was OK.

We then had to travel by water taxi to the hotel which took another hour.
Dan Lavi thought that the show was a beautiful setting but with too many people sitting down, but the girls were all great!

Ok on to Switzerland for the last show before the break.
